I've solved the level. Though it took me a few days to get onto the forum. For some reason that was down/denied access to it.

Oh well. 111+ ^^

I haven't finished it either....
It's been a heavy week - into the final stages of getting my lower back repaired. Or not, as it may be. The consultant already seems to be preparing me for a refusal to do anything.
But that's why I haven't been around to notice the site went down for a while.

I really hope things go well for you bythelee regarding everything. That takes presedence over armadillo run naturally...

And my solution is pretty damned expensive really, haven't done much in regards to completing with simple materials :P

Thanks for the good wishes, guys.

I'm still struggling to get a solution working. Again! This is becoming a bad habit of mine. :(

The half pipe looks so inviting, but I can't see any way to use it decently.
Am I missing something obvious??????? I don't think so.... I just can't spot a clever way to take advantage.

Oh well, only one more day of torture to go.

It might be possible that things have changed between that dillo run version and the one we're using now that it's not really possible to get them "easily" over the edge anymore. Or it was never possible...

I haven't managed it at least.

Well, I've got two solutions. Although one is just half of the first, repeated.

200+, but I'm not proud of them.

I'm not sure if the old version had less air resistance and/or impact damping.
Certainly as things are now, there is no way either dillo will ever roll fast and high enough to clear the opposite lip.

EDIT: now got a third solution, and a considerable improvement over the first two. It's not that brilliant, but satisfying enough....
It's been quite a while since I played snooker in AR
