ive been thinkin about the design contest, and what the next one could be as this one will end soon. ive been playing with the idea of making some walking legs, something with two legs or maybe four like a hourse or sumut . anyway just thought it would be a nice challenge, what do you guys think?

I have always wanted to see real walking legs!!!

I have some cool ideas about how to do it, but I don't think I can get it to work. I think non-force entries would be the hardest.

I think either a suporting wheel or tree legs must be there if not one makes a artifisial inner ear to cope with the balance :)

This would be pretty hilarious! Practically, though, it would end up working like the self-correcting airships you guys were making.

I've seen some interesting piston designs... I wonder if they could be modified into legs

Yea, I've never participated in a design competition before and I like this idea. How do design competitions work? Is there one every month or is it just whenever one gets started?

There's no fixed time length - it's up to the contest host to decide.
Once the competition is over, people have to vote on the winner. Currently there is voting going on for matacus 4, which ends later this week. After that the winner gets to host the next one - time period etc.. is up to them (usually you get a few weeks, especially if the competition is hard! Also you can extend it or can it etc... if noone has entered XD )
