I'm not exactly sure how you guys are getting to 1450, but I think I am on the right track with the catcher, which is as simple as it can get.

has anybody been able to break that metal plate the dillo is sitting on? I tried to do it and couldn't, seems like it's actually armor plate or something.

Its between two anchor nodes, so its gonna be pretty much impossible to break :P.

:!: A metal sheet is composed of one segment.
:!: It's breaking point is reached when it is stretched or compressed too much.
:!: Anchor points don't move, and both nodes are are attached to one.

= Good Luck.

yea, impossible unless there was some extremely strong force hammer or something, although the force hammer is more likely to just 'phase' right through the metal plate rather than breaking it.

By 'phase' I mean like when something forces it's way through rubber or metal through 'the force rather than speed. I used this for a solution attempt using two compressed rubbers. I'm free to mention this because it's not in my solution as I scrapped it eventually.

No. It's impossible to break anchored plates. Period. Stuff can be squished through it, or go through it if it's really fast, but you just can't break anchored plates.
