Hmmm... I see that the original background pictures have height 1024pix, width 2048 aso. I dont know. Just an uneducated guess. You can use photoshop to achieve that ie. Personally I would have made the picture more pale and or vague. The elements in armadillo would be difficult to see and overview could be lost due to the strong/dark colours.

Double-hmm! I tried to make my own backgrounds myself. They just come out as totally white/empty. I tried both with jpg and png
