Contest rules link: http://armadillo.metaclassofnil.com/for ... php?t=1016

Naming convention is:
[Time]-[YourForumName]-[SolutionName]
or
[Money]-[YourForumName]-[SolutionName]

Example:
6.66-asd-fgh
or
999232-asd-fgh

GMT Time link: http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/

The rules of this contest:
1) The goal is to make dillo stay within the level boundaries for the longest while (determined by the stopwatch) or finish the level.
3) Finishing the level has higher priority (e.g. the solution that has 100.00 seconds and fails will lose to the solution with the level completed screen at any given stopwatch time)
4) Level may not be completed.
5) Money spent is the second deciding factor in both cases.
6) Screenshots illustrate how the time is counted in case the dillo leaves the level by crossing the upper boundary.

Wow! I haven't the foggiest idea how to build something that flies without a rocket. I'm really curious to see the solutions

There was always Hoverdillo, but that never stayed up anywhere near 12 seconds...

I got the hover a lot more stable, with a lot of tweaking and redesign.

50seconds+ with finish..

and

500seconds+ before it falls out of the level..

Anyone else getting similar numbers?

If by similar you mean 3 or 4 seconds, yes.

how have you done it anyway, cos all the ufos ive seen need overlap of the ball to work and you can only do that in the level editor :?:
