Hello and welcome to the fifth Matacus competition. This is a design competition where the winner will be voted by everyone and anyone.

This time you have to design a level which has a free standing "robot" or whatever you want to call it that moves with legs. Due to the term leg being interpreted differently by different people, anything that remotely resembles a leg will do. No entries will be disqualified, so don't worry about your entry not resembling a leg very much

The winner will be voted for on the general coolness of t3h walking robot dude in their level.

The only rule is the robot has to carry the armadillo. Doesn't have to get into the portal, just needs to be carried. Oh, and the leg itself has to be moving. Don't do anything like that force powered car that Sean made a while back... and nothing like the attached file.

The deadline will be decided later.

Man - this is HARD! I'm struggling to even create a leg with joints in it which is self-supporting, let alone something strong enough to hold an engine too...

Anyone want to share any clues? I'm experimenting with both a very light leg construction with elastic 'tendons' and a heavy, strong leg (which I have no idea how to move yet!)

Is considering knee and ankle joints crazy? Anyone got it working, just to say 'yes, it's possible'?

I have made some very poor attempts. They could be considered as leg-supported but just rarely... :wink:

Awesome Pinball Orjan you have a style all your own. I watched it till it got stuck around 630ish (undo). The tracking view is neat.
