The Matacus Design Contest #1 Entries and Vote

Postby snowlord » Thu Sep 14, 2006 10:12 pm

It's time to vote for your favourite entry in the Matacus Design Contest #1.

Watch all entries and then come here to vote. You'll have three days to vote.

I advice you to give each level some time and even watch it several times since so much is happening all over the screen.

(I hope this poll thing works!)

yup - my 1533MHz 1800+ CPU has problems. When I grow up and get ritch I will by a heavy duty PC and watch through all the dillostuff. BTW can one look at the results and vote later? (I guess its a stupid question but I just have to ask -you never know if you ever know what there isnt to know - or not - or what?)

Just log out to see the results, then log in again. But I don't recommend basing your vote on what the scores are! You should watch the levels first.

Btw, I will not vote unless there is a tie for the first position. Then I will have the deciding vote.

As a suggestion for the polls (or even only the polls for these contests), I would say that viewing the results shouldn't be allowed before voting. It introduces biases into voting behavior, whether people consciously realize it or not.

Other than that, cool contest, and awesome designs all around.

No, actually not. Maybe it wasn't the best place for such things, but in the contest thread I answered "Yes" to the question "Can we vote on our own solutions?".

Read more there for an explanation.

No I did not vote for myself, I don't have an entry. Just wanted to check it was open for all forum members to vote or just between the people who entered.
