By the way, what's the solutions' naming convention for this competition?

JonathanF-55*-WOW
JonathanF-55(price)-WOW
JonathanF-price(55)-WOW

*I'm not really at 55, don't be worried

Hehe, screw standards. Feel free to name however you please
Name-55-wow would probably be the easiest and sounds fine to me

This is a pretty cool level - I think the placement of the anchor point allows for the most solutions too!!

However it is clear that I SUCK at it. My best is 5 dark 8)

im with dudiobugtron, this is a nice level and a welcom break from the normal levels we get, nice to have something different. but there is something i am missing here i cant break 20 light and im slowly whearing a hole in the side of my head with all the scratching :D

dark is a different story tho

15 Lait, so far. This is a very cool concept. only 200? is not much though :P
Will entries that costs over 200 be considered dark or completely disqualified?

I'm gonna just disqualify em. I thought about making the spending limit higher but I'm really curious to see what people can come up with using a pretty limited amount of money. I think 200 should be more than enough though to make a good light or dark solution. So far the solutions I've seen impressed me and I'm really curious to see what everyone can come up with and I think a spending limit really forces ingenuity.

It's very interesting though, to see that there are many ways to build a better thrower than an unsupported rubber cannon as long as there is an anchor.

:D That makes it all the more fun when that epiphany finally hits, and you realize that you've finally come up with a great idea

Unless that never happens and you're just screwed XD

Ya, I was really surprised when I had to build a launcher as part of a solution to another competition. You can really get the ball far without tension or force. Which made me curious what the best design actually would be. Hence this competition :P

Not to mention I'm sure some ideas from this competition will eventually be stolen and implemented in another solution ;)
A cheap method of getting the ball across the screen can come in handy (Especially a light one)

True - but in most levels you aren't limited to 1 anchor point (and no ability to build half-way mechanisms)

I reckon you've done really great with the idea for this level. I've been playing AR for less than a week, but have completed standard level after level. Very refreshing for this one, as I could imagine it is for you guys that have been playing it for much longer.

Couldn't come at a better time too, since I'm just starting out here, I can get to see a showdown of the best thowers, paddles, slings (maybe) and whatever else is out there. Thanks Ikerous!
