Welcome to B contest #18

Light Medal Spend the least amount of money and finish the level. No special rules here.

Dark Medal Finish the level with the fastest time possible (game timer). Your armadillo must also pass through the checkpoint shown in screenshot. Of course, you must add at least one dark feature to the level or it will be considered a light solution. You have $5000 to spend, you may NOT go over the budget.

Rules can be found here: http://armadillo.metaclassofnil.com/for ... .php?t=232

Naming convention is:
[YourForumName]-[DollarsUsed]-[SolutionName]
Example: MrDo-5000-LUIGI DIES

To clarify the Dark rules some more, the armadillo doesn't have to break the cloth. If the cloth is broken before he passes through, that is fine.

but, does he have to pass through it?

Very cool looking level btw. Do we get more points for getting the 'dillo further up the flag? :D

It already has a dark feature right at the start the way you built it :D

If you want to make use of the existing koopa troopa in your dark solution, then you can skip the extra dark feature

This level is really fun. I'm only on about $3300 surplus, but thats $400 better than my first attempt.

Good Ida and fun level. But the use of rubber ropes and elastics uses very much cpu. !! One second in my solution takes 5 seconds in Real Life.

I found out something funny because of this level. My desktop running windows was unable to run the map without lag. It's an amd 3000+, 1gig ram, geforce fx 5500 w/ 256mb. However, I booted into linux, ran AR with wine, and the level ran perfectly, no lag.

Sorry about that, it also causes metal sheets to explode for no reason. Just use the other anchor if that's the case. Don't want to help you too much, but that is my fault.
