Thanks to everyone, a lot of different solutions...
My favourite is dudiobugtrons "Rock and rollercoaster", but the winner is Hyperkubus!!!

His score is 9716, but please look at his solution, if it dark then his score will be only 9704 (equals to Bob's), anyway I think that Hyperkubus should be the winner.

O yeah, today's the 3rd of december! I thought it was tomorrow!

I've been tweakin a bit during a 2 hour lasting train trip just now, actually bringing my score to 9730 (attached)
The real turning point came when I stabilized the rockets with the metal, that made it so much more controllable! I've had near-successes with rockets connected by the back, a near success with a rocket connected from its nose (!) but it all just wouldn't quite go right, and the tweaking was horrifying! Take for example the temporary save I have attached too. Try anything at all to get it that little bit higher, and it stops working.

About the bluffing, I carefully crafted my messages to imply that I was bluffing. Compare my first versions to the edited ones:

Hyperkubus wrote:Blergh. I tried a bit, and 9680 is possible, but it's a huge pain tweaking this. If you change something, it breaks. If you finally get it to work, it doesn't work in the end :(
Hyperkubus wrote:Finally, damnit FINALLY! Finally finally after hours!!
I now posses a solution which TOTALLY blows away all of the other scores shown in this thread!

And the scores are too high...

Thank you.

I guess it worked! :P

About the dark, the most right metal beam of my pulley has compression (green) when the metal plate isn't yet destroyed. I don't know why, I didn't design it to do that... Is that using force? I don't understand why it would be compressed... I'm not knowingly exploiting anything..

I love the alternate solutions which take the 'normal path', and especially the rock and roller coaster is rock and rolling over the floor laughing!

I don't jnow, how to convert them, but maybe you can create anchor point and drag it on any other point you want...?
P.S. Yes, the winner should create new competition ... i didn't know it too when i win first one...

Hey, I finally figured out what triugolnik means! It's probably tic-tac-toe in a foreign language!

:)) No, triugolnik means triangle, but it is a translit from Russian language:)

Okay :P
But why did you name it triangle then?

The level was almost entirely composed of triangles =P

Very nice work btw Hyperkubus - I'm also quite impressed with Mark_man who got a competative-ish score without going through the timered hole.

As for the 'dark controversy' mentioned in first post - I think from precedent (and reading the rules) that Hyperkubus' solution undoubtedly counts as light.

In my opinion, overlapping of endpoints with materials shouldn't be allowed at all, but it is way to hard to police - how much overlap is too much overlap? So I am quite happy for people to use it as long as they don't destroy anything or create unrealistic forces.
