Cough, cough! Her it is. There was a new concept this time. Looks like it worked out fine enough due to litle planning and thinking through. There was lots of nice entries and even some that is totally or should I say literally out of the box.

I had a suggestion short after the release of the cotest that perhaps there should be a dark medal for the fastest solution watherver cost.
This was never quite officially decleard though. I still think it is a good Idea though any opinions on the medalstuff?

Light winner 1st place: Njaa 464$ - 40,99sek = 423,01 :!:
Light Second: Andrew 454$ - 34,99sek = 419,01
Speed winner: Luka1222 with 12,06sek :lol:

ps yeah i think that the person who got the fastest should definatly get a dark medal 8)

How come the colision is detected when the dillo is outside the map at the speedlevel?

The boundries are a little more generous when the level is especially large. I think someone had done an experiment awhile back with that...

Edit: see KotS entry -> http://armadillo.metaclassofnil.com/for ... .php?t=372

See Mushroom to Move for a not-especially-big level with outside the boundaries collision detection. I don't know why this happens at all...

As far as I know, it's not the size of the level, it's to do with whether any of the sides are at the maximum - ie: can you move them any further out.

Very nice work Njaa and Andrew - I'm glad I didn't win this level (beaten by 10!) because I was busy until today and couldn't have hosted it! Anyway I can't wait to see how you spent so little Njaa - or how you got yours so fast Andrew!!

Also I think Luka deserves some sort of medal for that 12second effort

OK, I just saw the resluts - very nice work all around! especially, congrats to Njaa for successfully breaking that annoying 'hump' after the cloth bridge.

What amazes me, though, is how all 3 of the other 400+ers (mark_man, Andrew and Njaa) all managed to break the cloth at the bottom without using an extra metal sheet! I tried on my solution and it just wouldn't work!

edit: Oh, and luka, if you replace your cloth catcher at the end with a metal one you can shave off another 10th of a second :D
