The results are in and there is quite an array of impressive designs. One of the highlights for me was luka's first solution which combined a roller coaster and a pulley.

The top scoring solution for the first level had a launcher similar to one in the movie that follows it, a $2686 design by Mark_man.

On to the second one. Here elastic became popular (for a change). Several people had flexible metal rod catchers that moved so sinuously they reminded me of artificial life forms. ?rjan was on top with $2480 using only 1 metal sheet as a catcher, which coincidentally was similar to the movie following it.

The last level was tough and brought out a variety of solutions, from fast to slow, both with and without destruction. Bob conquered the problem with a little help from the boundary getting to $1920. The movie was my solution to PeterT's Lemmdillos level.

Both Bob and ?rjan broke $7k which was no small feat.

And the winner is...

(drum roll please...)

?rjan with $7022! Congratulations!

I have a B-levl but I cannot unleash it right now, as Im at Toa the Boa. I willl releas it in tomorrow around 1300/1500. It wil not be as hard as the common B-level but it has a new concept that I hope and think that will be reused in the future. Its named sonofblagger...

Yeah, this one had some great solutions in it. :D

I updated the zip with mark_man's late rocket rescue entry.

Does it have anything to do with 'blagger' the c64 game? One of the best platformers ever!

I didn't send in my solutions as I didn't have the patience for no3 :(

But my solutions to the first 2 levels are attached incase anyone wants to watch.

Also I think ?rjan's solution to level 2 is a little on the dark side!!! I wonder if you can do a solution so cheap which doesn't rely on the power of the force :D

The sidecatch solution was not as hard as it can seam. I started with two metalbars ofcourse - and just took away the other one and tweaked for 10-15 minutes and it was there. It looks like it is almost easyer to make a ball land and stop on a surface with this kind of movement than a stillstanding... not very harder actually! A litle strange perhaps..:P

BTW - The B#7 is out, and yes - Its name SonOfBlagger is taken form the c64-game :D

BTW - this sidecatch-solution got lost somewhere in the system. It was the version that led to the final one. I like the movement! Its animated like some animal eating the dillo like a hungry dinosaur-bird-kid or somethin:
