jup. I have tried to do a solution (didnt work) wihtout tension or elastics at all. It never even toutched 28,5k. So I say its a buff or there is someone having a helping hand from extraterestrial intelligence. I say that count as force :evil:

I tried the same solution (I think) and had similar failure and cost.
However I just had a massive brainwave on the bus this morning. Kalif BFC, prepare to be overthrown! (If my idea works, and also if it is actually cheap - it may just go unnoticed like ?rjan's awesome tensioned metal bar cannon).
