Hello again everyone!

This time we had to figure out the best way to raise and then lower (or reverse that!) the 'Dillo with limited materials and a soft barrier between the start and the goal. We had a decent number of submissions and some very unique ideas as always. n.Fav as usual has supplied us with some really neat stuff this round, perhaps he deserves his own special award as his creations are outrageously good!

So, on to the spoils..... We have two winners for this contest level. Their solutions are visible below..

Congratulations to Kingofthespill and a first time winner Darkcatalyst!!

Let's saddle up for whatever Kingofthespill is going to unleash on us for the next B type level :)

Thanks to everyone that submitted levels, I hope you enjoyed it!

:P YAY :!: Congratulations Darkcatalyst. n.fav has got to be the most creative designer this time around, hands down :D !

I enjoyed seeing some towers, some of which were so flexible  :) .
I also enjoyed watching everyone's catcher solutions. It seems like the sacrificial
metal rod approach was everywhere.

I must say I didn't expect to win. I imagined if you could slowly drop a catcher,
it could serve as a counterweight in a metal rod pulley similar to mine.
Crazy idea no doubt. Also someone not using a rotating pulley could get it cheaper,
but I just found that approach broke very easily.

Ha, thank you very much guys, indeed I have the weakest scores and I think that deserves a special award

No seriously I tried not to use elastic, but metal bars are a bit difficult to handle.. They easily break but some of you managed to do really tricky damping structures with only metal, that's impressive.

Also I didn't know one could concentrate so much metal bars at once, like in Toa's and Darkcatalyst's launchers...

I post a screenshot of my ForceWheel solution, I'm really proud of it 8) :P

hahaha, very cool solutions guys! I thought toa's was very nice - you can tell he knows exactly what he's doing with the materials. And I also think it's hilarious that kingofthespill had the highest score without even needing to use his metal pulley!

Thanks to nfav aswell for livening up would would otherwise be a bit of a 'serious' competition, solution-wise :P

Ha! I knew that a metal pulley would win, but I was too damn lazy to build one

Congrats to king and all the newbies who submitted a solution!

Rob sent me a couple of solutions a bit after the "deadline" so I am putting them up here now.

I think for future contests we should switch to using GMT as our time. The forum time seems to differ between people for some reason.

Anyway, here's his solutions....well done :)

Wow, cool.

An all-metal pulley...very metal! \m/ I never even considered it, great solution.

And yeah, this Force Wheel is absolutely ridiculous, I enjoyed it thoroughly. Awesome designs all around.
