Not quite complete but I have an infinite solution. I think a rule change is going to be needed with this one or we will all be spinning around for ever

Edit. It is now working and will go for ever.

It is not necessary to change rules. :D
EDIT: The cotest purpose in the longest timer :?:

Ahhhh I see, OK back to work.

Edit. Built a timer that is so slow I cannot waite for it to complete to make sure the Dillo arrives at the portal :? Guess I will have to speed it up and see what others manage :)

Radial speed: 29 loops per 1 minute :D

EDIT: I do not wish to tweak , as it is necessary to wait on half an hour. And who it will look then?
Council: it is possible to open some windows and to start simultaneously.

The new budget is $500, that kind of crosses out my infinite solution :)

31 minutes * 29 equal about 900 loops :dms: FINISH! Idon't want!

I've got something going at about 30 rpm and is likely to take atleast an hour or two to complete, I could tweak this to go for much longer. I cannot give an accurate number for the rotations as I will go crazy sitting and counting for over an hour :? will an estimate be OK. (This is Light)

an endless rotation without a rocket like this is dark. there is a force coming out of nowhere so its 100% dark imo :dms: :dms: :dms: :dms: :dms:

Clearly there is Dark force in this engine but the structure does not break any of the Light rules. A tricky one. :?

This contest should continue with the existing rules imo but perhaps some changes to the rules regarding layered bars in launchers, etc, could be discussed away from this contest as it is quite clear that the layering of bars does produce Dark force.

I have counted exact quantity of loops!
915 loops :dms: for 31 min 35 sec.
It is possible to establish the timer at 1 hour and even on 2, but it becomes heavy and long to tweak.

Okay everyone. Enough is enough. This has gotten seriously out of hand, and has to stop.

The point of these contests is to test each person's creative thinking, NOT their patience. Using this new "Ultralight" dark paddle has killed the spirit of the contest and made this an unpleasant experience for many people. Therefore, I am BANNING any and all forms of perpetual motion from the Light side of the contest. The rules change will be added to the opening post of the contest. If you wish to continue spending hours waiting for a solution to finish spinning, feel free to pursue that in the Dark category, instead.

I apologize to those of you who have spent so much time working on these new paddles. Hopefully by starting fresh we can get back on track and have a healthy contest.
Again, sorry for the inconvenience this has caused.

68 min*28.97(loops per min) equal more 1900 loops :dms:

Good thing I didn't even try to do the level. After reading the first few posts in this contest I realized my spinner had to be possible. I spent a few minutes creating it and realized this wasn't a competition I wanted to be in. Just waiting for half an hour to see if a solution even works is not for me.
I'll probably have a go with your new rules. If I understand correctly dark-ultralight throwers are allowed because they are not perpetual?
