Welcome to 149th B Contest: Loops!

Welcome to my first contest! We will be departing from normal rules on this one, so read carefully!

Special rules:
*NEW: PERPETUAL MOTION MACHINES ARE DARK, AND WILL NOT QUALIFY FOR A LIGHT MEDAL!
* The goal of this contest is to loop around the center square as many times as possible, then exit through the portal.
* The ultralight submission with the most loops wins.
* If there is a tie for loops, the cheapest solution wins.
* Both clockwise and anticlockwise solutions are acceptable.

Example of 0 loops: http://tinypic.com/r/5pnekz/3
Example of 1 loop: http://tinypic.com/r/5zjl7b/3
Example of 2 loops: http://tinypic.com/r/24wxes6/3

Naming convention is:
[LoopsCompleted]-[DollarsRemaining]-[YourForumName]-[SolutionName]
Example:
3-1500-Anon54-Rollercoaster

Contest Ends: 3 August 2009 at 21:00 GMT
GMT Time link: http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/

Submissions by PM

Good luck and I hope you enjoy! :D

EDIT: Remember! The armadillo must leave through the portal to count as a valid solution! (No infinite loops)
If your solution takes more than 2 minutes to complete, please tell me how long it takes in your submission.

Nice idea, though I understand that it's possible to loop around infinte amount of times resusing the same construction. Have you thought about that? I just thought it's a game of patience - whoever does the most loops.

How is that possible in ultralight without a rocket?

I have a level I could replace it with, but it was designed for the A contest. Let us see what happens here first. If people can make ultralight infinite loops, we may cap the score at 50 or so.

Sorry, but I am sure more people would have found a way to do ultralight endless motion.

Actually you can make this fast enough to break apart like a dark flipper. I guess I created a bit of a problem

Oh my. Looks like the light definition is going to have to be modified again, doesn't it?

I guess so. Just a few weeks ago we tought that banning overlapping would get rid of the force...

Even though the modified mi2 launcher proved us wrong, you went and broke things again. ;) Looks like ANY kind of node squishing will create dark force.

4 loops+ :dms:
EDIT: 150 loops +++ :dms: Also, there is an infinite solution, but ... Thus, it is necessary to create the timer with time large supply. :D :D :D
EDIT2: Almost 6 minutes, but are possible and more :D :D :D

Rob's engines dark or light?
