Welcome to the 147th B contest: UpOrDown

Want to try something different here. In order to win you have to go trough one of the numbered gates and into the portal. You have to multiply your dollars remaining with the number in the gate you used.
If you have 500$ remaining going trough gate 2 your Score is 500x2=1000 points
If you have 400$ remaining going trough gate 3 your Score is 400x3=1200 points

The contest ends 21/7/9 2200 gmt

Best Ultralight solution wins

I think 2000 is just fine. Glad you like it. Had this idea for multiplying scores for some time but never came around to making something. Didn't test much so I hope it turns out balanced and we see both up and down solutions.

I am not so sure about that, Votart! In theory it takes less energy to go down and then up.

I have passed in Ultralight style through "Up" gate#9 and have multiplied on 9: very nice score

rob what a great idea

. im sure everyone is trying to reach the top numbers (7,8,9). played this level now for about 2 hours and got a good but not yet perfect light solution

. no score pushing yet

I received some solutions and I am pretty pleased with the contest so far. If I had to make this level again I would make it a lot higher so that the highest multiplier is (almost?) not reachable.
