Welcome to 139th B contest: SuperG

Another contest for the speed lovers!
This time anyway there are a couple of rules in addition:

 You should complete the level
 The lowest time wins (referring to the stopwatch when the level is complete), so money is not important (unless in case of tie)
 You must pass through all the gates, like a SuperG race
 When the level is complete, you will be penalized with 0.5 seconds for each cloth that is not straight up on its place.

Submissions to: crestarun@live.it or by PM (better)

Naming convention is:
[Time]-[YourForumName]-[SolutionName]

Example:
29.99-Me-Mine

Cool a fun B level that doesn't need hours to tweak (which I don't have).

I played around for 15 minutes and got sub 12.5 secs.

Edit: Spent another 90 minutes on it, and submission sent. Fun level

Sub 10.5 secs sounds like you went through all gates but not like a slalom.

I too have sub 10.5 secs by going through the gates in my own order, but I'm waiting for Cresta to confirm whether we are allowed to do that or if we must go through the gates in order like a slalom.

Glad to be back :) :) , thought the game had gone.

There is no mention in the rules of going through the gates in any particular order it just says you have to go through all the gates. I will have wasted a lot of time if I have to re-do in a different order. I now have sub 10 :lms: and a sub 8 :dms: . Please don't tell me I have to change both solutions :( :( :(

You must pass through all the gates, like a SuperG race.

That is in the rules. I thought the same as you originally and went my own route, then I read that part of the rules again.
Telling us to go through all the gates like a SuperG race is really saying go through like a slalom from one side to the other.

Anyway, it's Cresta's call to make. Either way I doubt I will be competing further on this one. It was taking too much time that I don't have.

hehe my dillo is going that slalom :D . i think thats the fastest way. because i think your way´s look like going frist down one side going up again and than going down the other side. its easyer to biuld this but not that fast i think.

got sub 10 :lms:

OK. Vankwish, thank's for the confirmation, if that is how Cresta wants it that is fine but I'm glad I wasn't the only one to make a mistake, to be honest I have never heard of a Super G, I didn't think it would matter which way I went. I'll send in the solutions anyway so all can see, the dark one has room for tweaking, getting the jackhammers in line was very time consuming but still not at max power, I think this could have gone sub 7secs.

mi2. The wrong route I took straight down through the two right hand gates then up and down the left side only had two tight bends in it going zig zag must have four very tight bends and cover a greater distance so that is excellent work getting it below 10L. I'll see how I get on. Doing a dark solution on the correct route will be a lot of work with jackhammers so may need to use something else.

Ok, sorry for the misunderstanding, I meant you must behave like a super giant slalom race, so you must pass throught all the gates like a slalom...

Actually it wasn't as clear as it seemed...

Not to worry, an easy misunderstanding, while off line I had fun doing it the wrong way :) . Now got back on track and just completed the same light solution going the right way and surprised myself to still get sub 10 :lms:

I have done tweaking my light score and sent it in, 961 :lms: was wanting less but every adjustment I made added time on so this is it. :)
