I've always disliked the rule about objects outside the borders going through each other being dark, so for this competition, nothing that deals with boundaries is dark.

arrg. thats a high start... I got in the 4840's .

Is there a thread somewhere that talks about this sort of level or the properties of the boundary. Sometimes the armadillo goes through the material and sometimes it doesnt with the same material. I dont get the mechanics of the "disapearing" contact point. :?

I think when the object is completely outside of the boundary, thats when dillo goes through it.

Cloths are made of little segments, so it's easier for those segments to be completely outside, even the the rest of the cloth might be inside.

I'm pretty sure that's how unw's solution worked in the recent contest, the metal plate never went completely out (iirc)
