i see what your saying, and i agree to a sertain extent i just think they should be more like giudlines then actual rules that cant be broken if it means that from time to time we get a level a bit more interesting, if all the rules serve is to limit what we can do and how inventive we can be then i think we should be able to bend the rules from time to time without a big hooha

Judging from past experience, it is usually OK to bend the rules but there will always be a big hooha
I think this is good because then when rules are broken it means they are broken for a good reason, rather than just 'i'm too lazy'

I completely agree, though, that the rules shouldn't be limiting creativity without very good reason.
