Ok 8000+ and I send in. Too much random tweaking for my taste. The strangest things interfere between the start and the end of the level. But it was a fun hell to be in. Cool with some backgroundstuff again! :). Looks like the level-set mode is not 100%, as there are no totalscore or locked-until-previous solved- stuff... But It works fine anyway.

ok dont want to give anything away or throw any flies in anyones ointment, ill try to be as vaig as poss but if something gets taken out of the top boundry and is then released because it falls through what it was in , is that dark :?

yep IMO thats dark.I think its clear cut dark but ultimately it would be up to NickyNick in his own comp to decide IMO .some more input from other members would be nice. :?:

IMO the situation you've discribed is dark

I always thought dark = exploiting a bug (ie force). That's not a bug, so it shouldn't be dark. But I guess I'm wrong :/

yeah, i thought it was dark, but to me one thing passing through another its sort of like welding a bit which is allowed, but yeah i think it is dark, although i do remember a b level set along time ago where it was used and considered light, anywho doesnt matter i made better solution not useing that anyway :D

i think it was decided that as it didnt effect the dillo directly it was light and not dark

the quote from rules:
- The best light solution(s) will win, i.e. solutions that do not use any bugs in the physics engine. This includes any form of overlapping materials with endnodes and "the force" that is generated by them in specific configurations. It also includes having the armadillo go outside the level boundaries to fall through solid obstructions. Dark solutions, like solutions with perpetual motion paddles or exploding pieces by intersecting materials and endnodes, will win the Dark Force prize if they score higher than the best light solution.

(my bolding)

so, as I understand the rules, the falling through solid obstructions is dark

I thought that the rules restrict to post the score of the ONE level from the set, only summary score? If so - please do not post it next time...
Anyway 8501.3+ (D ofcourse:)
