Cool. The cost of the elastic brought me down. I originally tried to do some of the other ways, like blocking with metal, but just never carried them through once I decided to try an elastic approach.
Some of the approaches, like using rubber to split the rockets, or holding back rockets with rope, never occurred to me. Also, I should have worked more with the rockets themselves; I see a lot of solutions use the rockets to work for the solution (e.g. carry the ball a bit) instead of fighting them.

wow nice one guys , the scores were higher than i expected, cant open the results but i got to know how it was done any chance of an explanation 
of all the things ive lost i miss my mind the most.
