Postby Njaa » Sun Nov 12, 2006 8:39 pm

Sorry for the delay :o

I'll be short here. The winner is

*drumroll*

snowlord! With an amazing $2880 left.

snowlord sends his thanks, but he could not be here himself to receive the award and host the next one. I'll be posting a new level shortly. :)

Basically I didn't realize there was a new version of the level until the end of the comp. I had downloaded it, but my old solution loaded onto it, so I thought it was using the new level, but it was still the old level.

Which brings me to my rant about changing levels after they're posted - did we really need to move that metal sheet 2 inches? The only difference would have been adding 2 metal bars onto my solution to make the armadillo still travel to the right, but I didn't feel like redoing everything that originally took me hours.

So I guess what I'm saying is the practice should generally be avoided, unless there is something seriously amiss with the level.

I agree with DC. Would you have beaten me?
I'm a tweakling (any score posted by me is light, unless stated otherwise)
