Basically I didn't realize there was a new version of the level until the end of the comp. I had downloaded it, but my old solution loaded onto it, so I thought it was using the new level, but it was still the old level.
Which brings me to my rant about changing levels after they're posted - did we really need to move that metal sheet 2 inches? The only difference would have been adding 2 metal bars onto my solution to make the armadillo still travel to the right, but I didn't feel like redoing everything that originally took me hours.
So I guess what I'm saying is the practice should generally be avoided, unless there is something seriously amiss with the level.
