Well, i thought i had a winning solution...but once again, someone beat me... Correct me if I'm wrong, but arent the B contests for the more experienced players? I don't think it's fair to us less experienced players if the Contest Legends are here.

Hmm. I see your point. (Here comes the but-part:) But personally I like the A style best due to my love for doing mutch out of less, unless the spesific B-lvl is very interesting to me or I just have lots of spirit at the time being. If the Dillo Society was big enough - it perhaps could be seperate competitions where experienced players where not allowed to join (btw the game is not that old so yes one learn a lot in only a month or two - and it will be quite a task to decide who is ?experienced` and whos not). So I guess you just have to keep on fighting - and hopefully enjoy the journey on the way to fame and glory. 8) But thats just my opinion though, sometimes right and the rest of the times im wrong

Weasel's right, there should be an award for 'best new player' (only people with no medals are eligible), Or, perhaps a 'C' competition which is not open to 'Contest Legends' (3 strikes and you're out).

But for 'contest legends' one of the best things about AR is coming up with the cheapest solution to a relatively simple level, so they need to be allowed to compete in the A competition.

*Edit - with a C competition, we could call the design comp the 'D' competition!!!

Perhaps dudiobugtron has a good compromise there.

Yes, that sounds like a good idea! I just get tired of trying so hard and not get anything... It's very depressing that no matter how hard I try, I can't seem to even get close to the top score.

I like the levels simple and fast to solve. Thats why I like the A contest better than the B contest. And I wasn't THAT experienced when I started to compete in these contests...

I'm with you Toa (Maybe) :)
I'm hoping I'll be in better rankings this week compared to my previous efforts.

Only my 3rd contest and I have yet to come close to winning, but I dont really mind as I am learning a lot each time. 'B' & design comp are still a little out of my league I think. I would not want to lose the opportunity to compete against the more experienced people in a 'simple' contest.
