Frankly, I have a hard time believing anyone could make this with 4750 left, while keeping to the light side.

I love to be proven wrong though!

believe me fruityth1ng you will be, I dont know how they do it but they do it every time and then make it look easy. I dont think even 4750 will be safe on this level though.

OK, perhaps 4750 was a bit high - I hadn't even looked at the level at that point

OK, I say that 4800+ gives the unofficial Lord-status this contest! (Invented to make people say their score) How is my new avatar? :D

I think we may have met our match!

It is an excellent avatar, but definitely turn the dillo (if possible - might require turning the chair instead!)

I searched the Forum and found that GPE is for Gravitational Potential Energy. I dont know what people means by it but I guess it include all kinds of stuff taking advanage of gravity to make stash move.

Thanks for coments on my avatar - and yes I had to turn the chair to make the dillo show his/her pritty face  . Ive made some more dillo avatars :P http://home.broadpark.no/~ofl/

It's a technical term for a pretty simple concept, pioneered by our very own three-letter-acronym, BFC. ?rjan is right, It's where you use weight to stretch a rope, then remove the weight to make the rope 'spring back' to lift up the armadillo. There are examples of it throughout the previous contests, eg:

http://home.broadpark.no/~ofl/ARCXLightWinner.bmp

The metal plate falling down lands on the armadillo trapese with some force, pushing it down. then when it falls off, the rope springs back, launching the armadillo onto the other trapese.

BFC called it a 'GPE' launcher, I assume, because the original 'power source' for the launch is in the Gravitational potential energy of the weight. However it is really the tension in the rope which causes the armadillo to fly upwards.

OOooooops! I posted my GPE comment in the 'A' contest, but I meant to post it in the 'B' contest. I think anyone who does the 'B' contest with a metal pulley system or GPE launcher deserves a 'Lord' title!!!

My apologies!
