Yes yes yes! The results are in, and we HAVE a winner.

Not that many solutions this time. I guess a few people got scared when people were talking about 5870+ solutions... Or my level sucked. :p

All top solutions used the same principle, and the mad man with the most tweaking abilities were:

:armadillo: :armadillo: kingofthespill :armadillo: :armadillo:

Woho!

His 5896 solution is sick stuff.

3 contestants got 2nd place: Bob, Dragon and dudiobugtron with the score 5882.

No black metal this time...

Well done! May Chuck Norris be with you!

OK I see now that me and my solutions have been pathetic. But the uglyness of the leveldesign was just so overwhelming that it was not possible to cope with the horrible pain. ConGranulations to KOS and the other dudes that made good scores. Ill see a ghostmovie and forget about dillo for some hours now 8)

I will second that - we have a resident Yu-gi-oh here!!

My favourite solutions were Skelly's, which managed to do what I had tried and failed for quite a while (catch the armadillo using a structure supported by the square) - and the 'Patheticon', which is perhaps the best solution I have seen in ages!!!

And of course, massive congratulations to dragon and king of the spill who managed to use the falling block as a counterweight without holding it up with the rope!!! You guys are true (and insane) masters of the tweak. King of the spill's solution looks like it will completely break apart about 10 times - not to mention the knife-edge dillo juggling at the end.

hmm after seeing those i feel soo stupid

i attempted building a cloth lift useing that weight and i tried a catapult like the games lob level

so i tried to use that weight to get my dillo to move but i went the way of the compressed rubber in the end

here are my solutions anyhoo

Thanks everyone! I am the madman today apparently ;), or perhaps looking at my solutions drives people insane. Hard to say :).

This time I had a late night inspiration. I had a 5860 + seesaw that couldn't be improved. I remembered time and time again how BFC got to inexpensive solutions so fast in these competitions, and started from scratch with his "how do I solve this really, really cheap" attitude. Fifteen minutes later I was at 5880+, wobbling on the knife edge. If I had more time it would have broken 5900 with less cloth, and that might have made a few heads explode ;).

Well done Kingofthespill! Simply A-mazing. I guess you are a... big gun

I kept trying different methods and would have sworn blind that 5890+ was impossible never mind 5896!

Congratulations to my fellow 2nd placers Bob & dudiobugtron!

Ah well maybe next time ;)

Congrats again King ;)

Well done everyone!

Alas, my schedule will not allow me to compete very well/often for the foreseeable future.

I think I may have even forgot to send my solution in. I had a 5854 I believe or something around there.

Anyway, another fun level done...can you come up with more innovations for us with the next level king? :)
