OFFTOPIC: Does anybody knows, how to remove spambot accounts? I have rights to delete posts as moderator, but can't handle accs I suppose that PeterT is unavailable? Tired to delete that *&^%& spam.

i think only peter have the right to do that. maybe you can write him an email . maybe he will give you the extra rights

We should rather ban their IPs. On a phbbb forum I moderated I had it under "banned" tab in User Control Panel (/ucp.php).

Anyway, why do they spam like this? Is it really effective, does anybody really click on those links?

I tried putting the spammer in my foes list but that's not the solution. I don't see their posts anymore but there still is a message that a post is held back and they still show up in active topics.
