how useless was that rocket for you ? it was overlord who send me within the first hour of this contest his best solution ( he just tweaked 4$ more to it today) and he takes the . rob show´s us a cool light version of the mi2 launcher . i don't know why mark was build such a expensive dark solution . there are so much better and cheaper ways with the dark force. special thanks goes out to decsystem10 and mattyoaks. keep playing some day you will win . i add also my solution its very similar to overlord´s solution . remember when there is a rocket USE IT!!

Very nice, couldn't get anything decent using the rocket. I did however have another look at my solution after mi2's last comment and I managed to tweak another 10 of my launcher Was just a little late.

I struck a rocket on a metal sheet, and it was necessary a metal bar attached to a rocket on metal bar. Congratulations to Overlord!

Rob's launcher is very cool gadget. Pulleys and swings leave in the past.

That was one contest I did not get into, even my Dark solution was nowhere near the best, a good disply of a complete lack of imagination. I'll make up for it on the next one .

Well done to everybody for some superb solutions, Overlord you are a genius and Rob's launcher will be used again for sure.

Edit2: I like markmadras' and decsystem10's long rope solutions, they remind me of the old days when we all were inexperienced and didn't care so much for money, and built those a lot

I'm afraid I tend to play with the theme (and rockets, when anybody leaves enough cash). And anyway, I fell out with launch stuff when it was all being won by wierd 'dark grey' physics, so it was nice to see clean ones here.
Like your solution, which is where I really wanted to be. I did try to get the rocket to wander over there, and failed miserably. I can't believe it was such a simple attachment.
Ah well, I'll just go crawl under the rug. small.. small

Yeah, I was about to give up when a single piece of rope couldn't move the rocket, then I kind of built some random stuff in panic there just before closing Armadillo Run, and whoa, that almost made the rocket hit the dillo Then I reduced the random stuff to just 2 metal bars till it would work. I believe most of the ideas of solutions here have come by accident.
