It's been a rainy season for all of us, but that didn't affect the AR players who participated in this though contest Image

So, the light winner - the master of swings -
V4nKw15h, $8902 :lms:

Cresta came really close with just a $20 shortage behind the winner. In 2 minutes I tweaked his solution to $8912, which is the highest scoring light in the contest. Sadly he didn't reach V4nKw15h with his massive thrower, that solution had such a great potential.

Now to the dark side - at first I though Votart Silak would be the dark winner with his "Canopy" (interesting to watch from the armadillo cam), then mi2 surprised me with a superfast dark solution which guided the dillo to the portal before the rain. But that's not all!

Cresta, $9126 :dms:

You ought to check out Cresta's dark launcher. That's nothing I've ever seen before! Truly a man for all seasons!

It seems like Armadillo Run forum only permits attachments of no more than 256KB in size (the results file is 257KB), so I'll host it: http://84.38.142.48/Rain.zip

These solutions are fun to watch.

@JimCDubb: Covered Bridge made me smile: If you can't beat the rain, make an umbrella and wait for it to stop :)

@mi2: Nice light solution. Same principle as my first serious solution, with multiple swings. But then I had to at least try and make one big ass swing and it worked.

@Cresta: OMG how much welding in the light solution? Interesting solution for sure. Don't give in to the dark side :)
Oh, I just watched your dark solution...it's too late...the dark side has consumed you.

Nice level design Overlord

I found that type of welding today in the afternoon, so I had short time to tweak!I think it can be done even better... Having some time, of course!

VANK: The first thing I do when I see an interesting solution is to edit it and move some nodes, to check the level of tweakness! I noticed yours is sooo fine tuned!!!! :D Nice one!

OVERLORD: Nice level, it was funny to play (the previous one was funny to comment :D )

Can't download the results file, can't imagine why. Any chance you could do it through AR in two seperate files.

Yes it's OK now.

Congrats to the winners. Some fascinating solutions. Where did that thrower come from in Cresta's 9126 :lms: :?:
