I'm sorry for the last contest, which was an epic failure. This one should be more interesting, as it requires more spending and hopefully will appeal to you. This time it's raining.

Yeah, this is harder. It took me two pieces of rope to solve this one :)

Edit:

And while we are on a role of complaining about levels...

It's another B league disguised as A league.

But I quite like it :)

Really? The previous was too easy, this one is too hard :x
But I got an 8282 :lms: in about 15 minutes, so this should't be THAT hard. Well, at least we can be sure there won't be a line of winners.

They fear the superiority of my level.

Thanks for the umbrella

Took me a while to get the Dillo out of its nest without any Dark things happening but got the Dillo to the portal despite a serious shower.

Lets start at 7900+ :lms:

I like this level, plenty of scope for some interesting solutions.

Yeah, I like the level too. I wasn't serious when I was complaining.

Sure it's tough for an A league, and takes some time to get a solution but it's very unusual and interesting because of that. The rain forces us to think about things differently.

I've just spent the best part of 2 hours tuning up a solution across this level, but I was going for a cheap solution and they always take longer.

I will not post a score just yet, but let's say you are going to have to get a WAY better score than that mark.

hmm this level is a hell. there are 1000 ways to do this level but witch one is the best ? hard to find a cheap way. i think i could tweak my solution for the next 10 hours and still got something to tweak :?

edit. just for the info i think pressing the dillo out of the pit isn't dark this time. there is a small force but i see no other way to get the dillo out there. everything is so tiny

I know what you mean, and it's doubley difficult to get a good solution because the rain makes things react totally differently with the slightest tweak.

I will complete my solution but I can't imagine I will attempt another. I've been trying to get the last bounce into the portal just right for an hour. Twice I had it work, only to find the dillo didn't quite squeeze past my umbrella and sat leaning against the edge of the portal but not able to fall in. Obviously the space is big enough now but I've got to get the final bounce just right again.

So that nobody spends hours on solutions that are too low, I'm going to make a biggish raise. 8400++ :lms: I haven't actually got that score yet, but I'll guarantee I'll have it after another 15 minutes. Enough for today though.

Edit: I couldn't leave it be incomplete. It's done now.

Wow, that's a big score. I have only got up to 8182 :lms: guess I'll have to do a rebuild.

Remember that technically if you place a node inside a material, that pops out and bumps the dillo out of it's enclosure, it is dark.

I too thought initially there wasn't a light way to get it out, but there is. It seems a little expensive but it's possible and not really so difficult.

If however, after a few seconds you squeeze something into the gap between the dillo and the edge, and that force pushes the dillo out, then it's light.

These are obviously only my opinions on this subject, and it's up to Overlord to have the final say, but I managed to get it out light so I would be a little bothered if others use a cheaper dark method to get it out and assume their solutions are light.
