What do you mean altered? Don't think they are?

Drop Dillo outside of the boundary line on the right of the portal it goes through a metal plate but on the left it bounces back. Not tried to go outside the boundary before, maybe this is normal, is it :?: .

Still can't get anywhere with a light solution grrrr, but now on 2752+ :dms: :)

It's possible to drop Dillo outside of the boundary line & then in portal from both sides.

Didn't work on the right when I tried it, see comment by jhep earlier having the same problem. :?

I'll give it another go as I can't find a cheap Light solution going round the left side. I've had the same problem going underneath. Plenty of time left to experiment :) as my dark solution is still being tweaked.

It doesn't matter, which version of AR is used...
Try harder.

Tip: Plate shouldn't goes fully outside boundaries, part of it should be inside.

Thanks for the help but I have tried a lot of tweaking and got the plate half in, half out, and still the Dillo goes straight through it. I've tried with cloth hanging right on the boundary and the Dillo just roles straight through it, but on the left boundary it is very different. On the left the Dillo will go through steel plate but only a long way out from the boundary. :? Does the example I sent you go through the plate :?:

Ioncorpse, if you look at the pinecone example mark sent you will see that even though right should be possible as well it is definately a lot harder to pull off compared to left :?

I'm sorry, I've tested right way today - it's really insane... I suppose that boundaries are different. Easiest is bottom, then left one. Right one is awful (I'm talking not about my level, but about "boundary" algorithim itself, in game).
Today we learned something new :D :D :D

P.S. Got only ONE light solution..

Thank you to rob and ioncorpse for your input and comments about the boundary. If you find a way around this problem (unlikely I think) I would be very happy to hear from you, could come in useful in future contests.

I've just managed to get to 2766 :dms: tweaked to the limit. If I manage to get into the right hand side this may change :)

It's definately weird :? . The creator of the level can make it more or less difficult by placing the outer node on or just a little off the boundary.

ps I'll send my solution in a sec.

edit: took one last look at my solution and got a nice tweak in less than a minute... 2828+ :lms:

Clearly a problem that will always exist unless the program is modified but now we know a little more  .

I finaly got a light solution but not a winning score, 2760 :lms: :)
