Just joined so a little help would be appreciated. First, how do I upload an entry to a contest and how does the time limit work.

To Submit an enrty to the contest private message the host and attatch the Lvl to the message. The PM button is below deatails on their post.
This comtest ends on the 9th April at 17:00 GMT. so any solutions submitted after then will not be included.

I havent been around in the contests long but have been playing for a while. the community here is very helpful and friendly, dont be afraid to ask any questions.

How do you create a contest, is it by using the "edit level" in the game. How do you get the Dark solutions, is there some extra software available

Yes, markmadras, you create levels by selecting New level in the Edit level mode. The winner of the current contest with the highest light score has the right to host the next contest.
As far as your dark question, dark solutions use a bug in the software that creates energy that does not happen in real physics by intersecting endnodes.
This two links in my post above explain hosting contests, and how the "dark force" works and how to create it.

To submit an entry, first of all you need a previously saved solution for the actual level, and that's easy as pie: when you comleted the level then select "edit", then "save", and name it as for example "900-markmadras-dark". Then hit the PM button on the forum page(below hosts nickname( in this case mikee7)), and add a file which can be founded in Armadillo Run\Levels folder on your comp, in this case that would be: ARFC_A_231_Hanging.900-markmadras-dark.lvl
Hopefully i was understandable, but this is the max what my english allows

After a few tweaks now 680 light

Raising the light
