Light Medal:
:lms: V4nKw15h and Cresta with 1894! Very different solutions, but the same score! :D (Both Brilliant!)

No Dark Medal

Non-Vet Medal: Guess not.

Nice one Cresta. Last time this happened you let me host, so it's your turn this time.

I don't like to spoil the party, but Severity's solution is absolutely 100% dark. It's stated very clearly in the rules....

Quote:
"Dark solutions, like solutions with perpetual motion paddles or exploding pieces by intersecting materials and endnodes......"

I mention this simply to avoid confusion for the newer players later. If you overlap nodes or materials to cause any part of the level to explode it is Dark. If you wish to destroy the level while keeping your solution light, use the techniques like Cresta used. He used natural forces to make things explode.

Mikee7: You must be kicking yourself for missing the obvious tweak.

Shouldn't Non-Vet medal go to m3f?

m3f's solution was dark too( he used a paddle) , and I don't think there is any point awarding a Non-Vet medal if there is no competition. By this I mean, if there was only 1 Non-Vet light solution, it seems silly to award a medal. That would just force non-Vets to become Vets too fast. I think it is good for the Non-Vets to stay Non-Vets and compete against each other until they are ready to compete with the Vets. Otherwise it might seem too hard for them to get a result they are happy with.

That's just my personal opinion but I think it makes sense. It gives Non-Vets a challenge while they are still getting used to everything.
