Welcome to the 133rd A league: NewConcept

 This contest is an experiment: It wants to test A new idea, that is unify A and N league; infact
There will be a vet winner and a non-vet one

Moreover:

Posting scores is FORBIDDEN:!:
This will help leaving everyone a possibility to win, and have fun playing the level.
I would like people that are playing to post comments on the level, ideas for the solution (for this one they are not forbidden), and most of all, post every your solution! It always can win!

Initial Impressions:

I want to play it. It's not too difficult and wont take me 90 minutes just to get a first solution. So that is good.

After 10 minutes of play, I'm worried that it might be a little too one solutioned. But that's only an early impression. Maybe with a little more thought I'll think of another cheaper way to solve this. Edit: Very tweakable

Good start though Cresta. I'm sure it will get everyone involved.

Let's all get in the habit of sending in our solutions though, good or bad. It will help to make the whole thing more interesting and get more people involved in every competition. Instead of simply trying to win, players will try to improve on their position. By this I mean. They may keep coming 6th and try to improve in the next competition to 3rd, 2nd etc. Maybe we can even post results in order like that. 1st,2nd,3rd,4th,5th etc.

Maybe we can even consider a points system instead of a medal system. So there are points for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each competition. Then maybe each month the points can be reset. So there is like a competition to see who can get the best combined score each month. Just an idea. I only thought of it as I was typing this so it might be too hard to implement, but it's worth a little thought.

I just sent my solution to this one. I can't see a way to get any better.

Nice simple level Cresta but quite tweakable. I came up with about 10 different ways to do this before settling down and tweaking a final solution. Overall, about 2 hours play.

Now I wish there was a B competition to have a go at :)

I too, have a solution, took about ten minutes. Then another hour after that slowly stripping it down to make it cheaper.

I think it's a good idea not to post scores! Feel likes I might be in with a chance of winning, although I sure some smart-ass has got a solution that uses one bit of rope and a scrap of fabric!

Anyone using the top left anchor point?

Who else thinks we will all end up with the same solution, give or take $2-$4?

Or has anyone discovered something that they don't expect anyone else has thought of?

Well CN definitely has a different solution to me as I've not used the top left anchor - I'm intrigued as to whether his is cheaper!

I've plumped for a simple rotating thingy-majig, I guess a solution involving a rail or a trampolining effect between the two anchors would be alternatives, although I've been unable to make one of these that costs less.

To CN:
NewConcept is about the new method of posting scores and giving medals!
For the moment I haven't created any new method for solving a level!

Anyway,
forbidding posting solutions is giving great results:
You'll see in the results thread!

From the host point of view is really funny, seeing people producing solutions without a referrement on others' score: everyone wrote me that he don't see a way to do better, but scores are very different!! And that's funny! :D
