Yes, as far as I can see: see http://armadillo.metaclassofnil.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1003 for example.

The point is that in B competitions you can have additional rules, but in A you can not. But material restrictions are not additional, they are part of the level.

i think most levels should be void levels, it makes the game so much more interesting as there are so many different ways to go about levels if your not forced to go along with the random stuff thats in your way :D

Voids are good and taxing as you say, but negotiating obstacles is fun too, especially where there are multiple choice routes. (It is difficult to argue with that when you see the breathtaking results of Good Bad Ugly). The difficulty (newby and A levels) is with the beautifully designed levels (the Hive and Downfall come to mind) where the engine is so challenged that the behaviour is chaotic, and making small changes causes totally unpredictable (or difficult to justify) results.

nah not really, i dont mind that, i just get a bit tired of the theam levels that keep comin, its hard to design a level where there are multiple ways of doing it, all im saying is that with a void your most likly to get this result, a level with things in it get used and the results become predictable if you see what i mean :?

i perfer not to be forced to use a swing in a level, but to biuld my own swing if i want to, see
