I mailed one eariler at $4648. Since then I'll just say I now have one that beats everyone who's posted except for BFC. $4816 is nuts.

I'm now at $4646. This is after about 5 unique setups and with a total of 13 seperate saves that I consider worthy of saving the changes made.

My catching is the only place at all I can see for improvment. Its rather costly but I have no clue how I could further optimize it.

I really want to see these solutions!

I've got 4672. I have no idea what BFC did. Yet.

Surely he's bluffing. $4816 is crazy talk.

Up to $4696 here.

I think he just added $100, because I've got $4716 and I don't see how it could be any more optimized.

Heh, come on, you should know by now that such an expression is meaningless in this game. There's always an extra couple of $$ in there somewhere :)

It's true. I should probably go over it again. I'm just looking at my method for getting the ball to the target, and I've got $4782 left over without a catcher of any kind.

QFT.

I'm at $4694. I had a quantum computing final today, so I'm a bit behind on the optimizing ;)

Not so crazy considering Kingofthespill is already knocking on the door with a 4806....

Mine's up to $4684, several people besides BFC have beat it since I said that, I don't believe that approach is going to get any better, I need something radically different, but I'm stumped. At least we have a few more days to think about it :)

Well, I can think of only one way to do it spending less than $200, and I've tried, and I can't make it work. I'm prepared to accept that it's possible - I'm also prepared to accept that we're playing poker here ;)

I see you 1816 and I ra.... I fold.

May I join your distinguished organisation, gentlemen?

$4810

(This took me quite a while)

On a more wholesome note, I have a solution that does not use tension at $4622. Can anyone beat that?
