As for without tension, no clue how its possible within a reasonble amount without it.

Seriously! i can get up to 4678 w/ tension, but w/out it, it costs more. i give props to whoever could do it without tension.

Argh, I'm close to shaving almost another $20 off my solution, just a few pixels in the level itself are keeping me from it.

I understand your quadry about out of bounds strangeness. I think of it as the program disallowing you to carry him in the out of bounds area. That is just coping with the game's rules.

This seems completely different from the two "force" bugs, bugs that I understood were to be fixed.

Hmm, I don't think I'm going to get more than 4000 out of my current method.

EDIT: 4628, it can be tweaked quite easily, but my method caps out at about 4700.

On a more wholesome note, I have a solution that does not use tension at $4622. Can anyone beat that?

my non tension solution is at 4774 currently.

I just submitted a $4720 solution. I don't think I'm going to figure out anything better than that one by tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing your crazy solutions!

Edit: I lied, $4734 now. I'll wait to resend it until tonight just in case I have any more ideas.

Following the 'no tension' aspect of this competition yielded my best result so far! 4736 and counting!
