Historical ARFC Level Gallery(under construction)

Pictures of historical contests:

The first 10 competition on this forum has got the name Classic Aramadillorun Forum Contest. After that "the society" decided to split it in to two types of contest: A and B - where B was ment to be either harder and/or have a kind of experimental element or extra rules - like "dont brake any cloth". A is meant to be not too hard and no extra blabla :)

In the future your grand children can watch how their grandfather solved AR solutions - and so on...! Hope the picture links dont "die", though..

so your gona take a screen of every winning entry so far? thats allot of work i suppose but it would be interesting to see all the winning solutions in one place, i think it would probly turn into a good referance tool for people stuck on different level, nice idea man look forward to seeing it. :D
of all the things ive lost i miss my mind the most.

I'd also like to see the current winning entry, if possible - for the Classic ARFC 1, DarkForce is currently held by RYO, who also holds DownAndUp. Ogre posted his 3890 on the forums, which wasn't the official winner but was the highest score. dudiobugtron also definitely won his own contest on A #12 :P.

Edit: Sudden thought: Why do the DarkForcers of general levels never come on to the forums? Do RYO and JNCn like living lives of mystery?

:P

Edit again: Wide_RYO as attachment.

Edit again again: Still not completely happy, trying png version:

DJC thought we were, as well :P

I thought it was evident from the way we named out levels, and the description we traditionally left - although we both have been leaving "Tweaked" descriptions recently. And RYO has been abandoning his classic ":)" for actual words :P.

Hehe - well, what can one saY? I always thought You(RYO and Ryo_Sangnoir) and DJC had connections outside AR.
Guess there is still some mysteries out there..
I.E I guess there is many people that have different nicks in AR forum and in the official highscorelist

Same

dudiobugtron also definitely won his own contest on A #12

True - but you'd be surprised how much easier it is to get the high score when you can see everyone else's solutions!!

The fact that most people post a screenshot of the winning solution to their level makes it very much easier to complete this task.

OK, I won't edit your post any more :P

I added a few photos then they got wiped over

But I'll start on the B levels and stick some of the screenies in a separate post (so you can just copy and paste)!

ARFC B's 11, 12 and 13 all had no screenies and so need a shot taken.
ARFC B's 7 and 9 need some more screenies taken of them to show all the level/s. And the ARFC B 2, 6 and 10 ones need to be smalified!

Oh, cough - I guess we have been editing simultaneously... Nice thing you start on the B stuff! :D

I took the risk to edit BFCs screenshot of ARFC B II lightside winner.  And made it smaller and cut of some white space..

You could use my level displaying tool to make this task a lot easier.
Drop level onto program, double-click to save as jpeg. Done!
It's only 2d though, not semi-3d
