not to be negative dude but all your triathlon is is a level set where you dont allow dark entries, this site has a pretty dam good layout and format and an established comunity i think it will be hard for you to get more people to go over to your comp i hardly find the time to do the competitions on this sight let alone another. good idea tho hope it does work out who knows
of all the things ive lost i miss my mind the most.

help

Postby Wiplash » Sun Oct 22, 2006 6:08 pm

Personally i dont think theres enough competitions .. but i love it .. If anyone has any ideas for contests i have not heard of .. i will put them on the site. I just found that the forum contests got a bit messy and waiting for people to submit the results was a pain .. and sometimes i want to just see screenshots of all the levels without having to download and watch them all. Plus they only last a week and i kept misisng the deadlines.

These are all really valid points. I guess an idea behind the forum competitions is that they are run by the forum members themselves - which helps share the load; but it means there is a lot more variation and often a lot more 'mess'.

And yeah, of course you won't get banned for posting it, links to new competitions and AR news etc is an important part of the forum =P

However, posting the same post in 4 different locations is a bit slap-worthy :P

Can't make this one, maybe the next though.

Have you thought about hosting your contest on this forum as another contest?
