ok im gona start up a new competition, the "s" league, s for speed, this will be a "a" league style competition with all the usual rules but you only have a hour to complete the level and get your entrys in. gets rid of all the endless tweaking peaople have to think on there feet fast to win. so what do you guys think id just like to know if there is interest for this so i can go ahead with it, if people are interested we need to decide when in the week to do it and at what time with everyone in different time zones and all, also one hour long or two? what do people think?

I won't be able to compete in these, but the idea sounds great

I think this (if everyone were able to compete and spend the whole hour playing) is a much better test of AR ability than the normal A competition.

Looking for a new fun contest ..

A competition based over 3 levels .. wow what a fresh idea ..

I was looking through old stuff and read this. It is really very good idea. This type of contests can be solution for our common "lots-o-tweaking" problem. Blitz competition can reveal genuine creativity of player, not his boring-tweaking ability.
Let's come back to this idea again and try to do such experiment. We need list of people who want to participate, and then we will choose comfortable for everybody datetime for contest.

You would definitely need to say ahead of time when the competition would start, so people can sort out their timezone troubles!

I would be in if it was at a time I could make it to. I love speed AR!

Hmm... I think that the best time for such contest can be 6:00 or 20:00 GMT.

If it will be 6:00 GMT, then:
7:00 UK
9:00 Latvia, Norway, Ukraine
Good time in Russia
18:00 New Zealand
23:00 California

If it will be 20:00 GMT, then:
8:00 New Zealand
13:00 California
21:00 UK
23:00 Latvia, Norway, Ukraine
Late time in Russia

Correct me if I'm wrong

I think that the best day is Saturday or Sunday - holidays. What do you think abut this dudes, what time do you prefer?

I prefer Saturdays

I'm GMT+2 like Nick and Ioncorpse but at summers I'm GMT+3 due to daylight saving time program.

I have GMT +3 now too, though winter time in Ukraine is GMT +2... And I think that Ioncorpse has GMT +4 now or even more, according to his residence
