Ok. "Show must ho on..." - and it sure did!
Thanks for all the solutions who came in!!
It have bean a pleasure to wtach them all. The variations
and amouts of unike solutions was way more than I had
Imagined. Even Though there was a particular principle
that was frequent among the competetive ones. I guess there
is another level somewhere who has that kind of solution to it.
There are plenty of names that should be mentioned and just
as many that should not be forgoten(due to cute
details, impressive creativity or stone cold economics etc),
so I keep It simple And give congratulations to ..tadatata...
..tada....KingofTheSpill for his tweaky masterpeice ImpulseSling with
2874 Lightside score!!!
Congratulations to Jainus for second place on Lightside!

Light Side Winner ARCX:
Image
And so the shady, but yet so powerful honour for the best, darkest - most unholy
- black medal winning solution for beating the light side:
Kingofthespills "ReturnOfTheJedi" - with 2896!!! dark scores!
Congratulations to Jainus for second place on darkside! History repeted it self there, :P

I added the rest of the list in a wordpad file but it all went messy when I should paste it here so I zip it with the lvl-s.. ok her is the solutions -
(I took my self the right to remove some"[1]"from the filenames. I guess it was there due to double savings or something :? )

http://home.broadpark.no/~ofl/ARCXresults.zip
and the list: http://home.broadpark.no/~ofl/arcxHSlist.rtf
does it work? ...who am I?

Kingofthespill: That tuning of yours must have taken ages.

Did you perhaps look at my solution? This clearly uses a GPE sling. Or at least that's what I call it ;)

I will not be able to look at the solutions until later tonight.

Congrats to both of the winners! King surely deserves it this time.

OK, I give up trying to ad that picture to the main-post

The spinning dillo /hellwheel - has that trick been done before? I for one have never seen it!

I looked through all the solutions now (and there are lots!). The upper ranks were of course very impressive, but I also enjoyed some of the "non-competitive" entries, like "Fishy Balance" by Casius, "Spinning Madness" by Biodroid and "MetalBarBridge" by ch. Jain also made some fun stuff.

[edit]
RE the spinning cloth-wrap:
It has been known for a while, see here for an example.

 8) Thanks :!: I will say I owe everything to sleep. I think had a 2812 solution that I just couldn't get cheaper for the life of me, went to sleep, and had some weird ideas when I woke up. It took just 5 minutes and I was on a cheaper path. Multiple times I thought, "This is the ABSOLUTE maximum", and I would update ?rjan, but then several minutes later I would have some other idea. I hope to update people less frequently in the future  !

The dark side was quite similar to my first dark side winning solution, and making that catcher work paved the way to getting the light side catcher cheaper :D .

Nobody has asked, but I just take it for granted that the following info is very interesting: The industry environment in the background of ARCX is Odda Smelteverk - A deposited industry for melting metal and stuff in the mountains. My grandfather worked there. Im sure they made metalbars and sheets. The women bahind you - I have no idea who they are - exept that they are some kind of educated and the name of lady second from the left on second raw is Ruth. Any questions, yes? 8)

I have just looked over these solutions and I am really impressed. The sheer number of inventive and unlikely solutions is astonishing :!: More than you can shake a stick at  . Cloth force solutions!? Very interesting :o. BioDroid, dudiobugtron, Jain, and Weasel - you are turning the force into an art form :D.

Thumbs up for the spectator type solutions, really enjoyable to see :) .

Strangely it took nearly half the time to get a 2800+ solution. After that it I essentially walked away and came up with different ideas, tried them and walked away, again and again. It was luck that these ideas were doable and in a sequence to getting to the cheap version I ended up with. I not unfamiliar with tricky catchers :) , so that part was moderately quick.

I really didn't understand how to avoid breaking my sling rope, so I partially doubled it. I did bump into a version that had just a tiny bit of extra sling rope, and then Viola it was possible to go cheap. Definitely an indirect path.
