I find it cumbersome to navigate to AR directory every time and copy the .lvl files manually, the same with WinZip extraction path. This little utility has served me extemely well thrgough time, so I decided to share it.

ARext - Armadillo Run level extension manager...

Image

It associates the .lvl files with itself, so that when you doubleclick a .lvl file or open one through your browser, or select them in WinZip and hit enter, they will get copied to your AR \Levels directory.

Instructions:

- Launch the unpacker and select your Armadillo Run installation directory to extract there
- Go there, launch ARext
- Verify that the path to \Levels folder is correct
- Hit 'Associate...' and you're done. Now whenever you open .lvl files, they will copy themselves to AR dir\Levels.

You may also tick the checkbox to delete the .lvl file after copying; and remove the association.

The forum wouldn't allow me to attach files larger than 255kb, so I chose public hosting.

I will make it AR2 compatible it this gets positive remarks.

I know, I just wanted people to test it on AR1 to see if they find it useful before I remake it.
