Time to go on to ARC #10 - Show must go on...

There is a litle silly secret in the play-level. Perhaps somebody notice it. Well. It is akind of hybrid between void and not void, I think it perhaps depend on the solution. It is not hard to finnish if you dont mind money spent.

I have made a .rar file taht is 264kb, hope thats not annoyingly big for anyone (?) Maybe wednesday is enough time? Or am I messing it all up?

As long as nobody is protesting I set this contest to last until WEDNESDAY 9aug 20:00 AR Forum Time (same as GMT+1)
AR Forumtime you find here: http://armadillo.metaclassofnil.com/forum/index.php

ARC#10 IS OUT! DOWNLOAD AT
http://home.broadpark.no/~ofl/arcx.rar

(or if you want to DL the files one by one uncompressed:
http://home.broadpark.no/~ofl/ put it all in your level-folder)

mail solutions to me: defladez@hotmail.com
please label mail ARC#10. I have to pick'em up from the trashfolder. I will replay on every mail I get that I get. If you dont get a replay, panic and try again

. So protest if something is wrong or not good enoufh. Even great heroes can do mistakes, even though its not as likely as for the mortal men and women. Yup.

OPs litle warning

I had a problem trying to open the rar file - I think the problem is that the format isn't always as 'standard' as with zip files. Is there any way you (or someone else) can add a zipfile link as well? Or just links to the individual files (assuming there are only 3 or 4)

I take it from the file size there's a background picture in there though - very exciting!

I took the liberty to edit your post and sticky it. I did take a look at the level, but I have not yet really played it. Looks like more work than the last contest.

Also looks like there are lots of things to try, I can't say for sure what kind of solution will win after thinking about it for 5 minutes, good job

Yup!

Thats no problem. Im not used to do stuff like this. So help and comments are welcome!

 That was what I was hoping for. Make several diferent potential solutions be just as likely to be the one to go for. *special quest: Do you feel someone is watching your back while playing?*
(BTW: Peter T , the sidequest - I was afraid that would happend 8)

Okay, first solution, 2500+. That .end is craaaaazy!

Spoiler for sidequest: I looked at the images before so it wasn't too hard to figure out :o

Yes, it is quite similar. The last one was also similar to Countdown 5. I guess as the game gets older it will be harder and harder to create completely new levels. Another reason for the proposed "B type" contests? (Larger and more complex levels should also offer more opportunities for original design)

Oh, and ?rjan, you got your medal ;)

true enough

Hmmm yes, it is getting harder and harder to create something simple but original. But it takes more work to do a really good complex map. Guess everybody shold get started on some heavyer stuff so that it is ready the day you need it. Hmm.. that sounded tempting 8) . Well its over by Wednesday, and then its hope for people who dont enjoy to tweak for a weak to win too. Not everybody is unemployed like me :D

Peter,

Have you decided to roll with the A and B format then? If so, are we going to use the guidelines in the that early thread for it?

Just want to check :) Because I've got a few good ideas that aren't as complex as my last few levels.
