no.

It's called "virut" and it affects all the .exe's that I have (the infected .exe's spread the virus too). It got my avg .exe when I tried to use my antivirus.

Ouch, does it affect *.SCR files as well?
Also I think Kaspersky's supposed to handle it, give it a try.

Yes, I read it jacks .scr's up too (what are they anyway?)

And I can't try anyway because I quarantined explorer.exe and now I can't log on. That or another virus got it.

o.O

Don't use Internet Explorer and pay attention to what you click OK to and it's not hard to stay virus free. Or switch to linux and never worry about malware again.

On topic, I pretty much came up with a whole new solution and only saved four bucks. It was quite sad

Yeah, atfirst Ikerous had to change between Windows, and Linux, but then he figured out how to make it work. He is a genus like that.

I use internet explorer, but I am also good at websurfing and bieng knowledgeable what sites are generally safe.

Firefox has been suggested to me, but I have been too lazy or something to switch over.

I'm also careful about what I download.

If he could do that, I would beat him up because he'd never told anyone. I would like to be able to mod AR!
