AR WCH?

Hello dudes,
I am worried with one problem that we all are facing at last time. I'm catching myself on thought that today's contest system is getting less interest. How can you explain the last B contests' results, that are having only few entries every time? Maybe, people just don't like tweaky/chaotic levels? But results of some contests proof another! I remember the first hosted by me A contest - Monster Truck; there were 27 entries! The N contest #1 is tweaky enough too, but there are more than 20 entries. Otherwise, the C contest #1 by Snowlord was very cool and interesting (IMO, of course), but that was stunning for me to see the only entry there. Why? People don't want to play complex contests that need a lot of time? So, how about holidays? I never seen the contest that requied more than 5-6 hours of tweaking...
I've got idea. It was taken from the principles of realization many sports' contests. I propose to carry out 4 AR Contest seasons per year, each from them is fully independent from others. Each season starts with empty medal tally. The person, who leads the tally at the end of season, becomes the Season Cup winner. Also, I think it will be good to make AR WCH at the end of each season. AR WCH is the level set of 10 levels (some of them can have special rules), which must be solved for 2 weeks. The volunteer from contestants becomes the host of AR WCH.
This all must raise the interest of contests and make them more popular (especially B League). Of course, providing this must be very well discussed and requires bless from PeterT
I'll be happy to read your thoughts! Thanks for your attention
