Armadillo passing through cloth

Newly registered user, apologies if this is a FAQ, but I'm trying the A contest ("firewall") and this is frustrating me.

My armadillo is in free fall with its cloth sling, and it appears to fall right through the cloth, even though it looks like it shouldn't. This makes it very hard to catch him.

Is this a quirk of the physics engine?

Was Armadillo Out side the Level Boundaries?

If it was, it alaways goes through

You are right, it was out of bounds.
I'm not up on all the rules for what happens when you go out of bounds. Thanks.
