I have many questions about your game. The main is:"what physic engine you used for AR?" and "Do you planed to show sources?"

PS sorry i'm not good in english, i'm russian:)

Armadillo Run doesn't use a third-party physics engine - it's something I wrote myself. It's not really that advanced - it doesn't do anything that hasn't already been described before in various articles on physics programming. I suppose it works well because it only simulates a fairly simple set of primitives (points and straight lines).

I don't plan on releasing the source code in the near future, but I may do this in the longer term, under the GPL licence.

You ever think about having Steam publish your game? Something similar to what they did for Darwinia?

What means "third-party"?
And how about the Armadillo run on Mac or Linux?

"Third Party" means someone other than the game designer/owner/company (the first party?) and the player (the second party). In this case, a 'third party' physics engine would be one designed by someone other than you or peter stock.

you can play AR on a mac or linux using Widnows emulation (eg: Wine, VirtualPC)

Try CrossOver for Mac (it uses Wine) to run AR on Mac... Works very well!

OS X on a G5

What would be required to compile AR for Wine on the G5 Processor?

If you've got Wine, you might be able to run the Windows version of the game as it is.

There's more information about running the Windows version on Mac OS X and Linux in this thread:
