Because it promotes pirated versions, and also if a number of people do vote that they have a pirate copy, it 'normalises' that.
Also, IMO only people who use registered versions of the game should be eligible to compete in the competitions.
Posted: Fri Oct 20, 2006 1:59 amIt is not my intension to promote pirate versions in any way. I cant see how it would do that. I just look at it as a pease of information, nothing more. When people come to this vote they already has a payed or copied version anyway. I also bought AR and dont regret it! On the other hand I regret that I payed a milloin for Doom3 which I played for 2 weeks and got bored
