Because it promotes pirated versions, and also if a number of people do vote that they have a pirate copy, it 'normalises' that.

Also, IMO only people who use registered versions of the game should be eligible to compete in the competitions.

It is not my intension to promote pirate versions in any way. I cant see how it would do that. I just look at it as a pease of information, nothing more. When people come to this vote they already has a payed or copied version anyway. I also bought AR and dont regret it! On the other hand I regret that I payed a milloin for Doom3 which I played for 2 weeks and got bored :P
